Step-by-Step Process

1. Deciding on how to raise money as a fundraising committee?
It's not so bad. AS a fundraising committee you need to decide how to raise money for your organization. There are lots of ideas, from raffles to bake sales, to bottle drives, however, one of the more common ways is product based fundraising. You make the profit from selling products. 2. Getting Started
Once you've decided to work with Better Life Fundraising, we can begin preparing the tools you'll need to get the word out. To get this started we ask that you complete our registration survey. Here you'll provide us your details so that we can begin building your customized marketing tool: 1) an email message to promote your campaign, and 2) your website where supporters go to purchase products online. As well, the information you provide will be our contact point for the coordination and distribution of sales reports, delivery of products and your amount raised.

3. Start Promoting
Shortly after you complete the registration survey one of our representatives will contact you to confirm the specifics of your compaign and answer and questions you may have. Approximately 5 days later you'll receive your customized marketing tools. The fundraising email also includes a "forward to a friend" link to make it easy for your supporters to spread the word.

4. Timeline
You will need to determine the dates for your fundraising campaign and how many months you wish to repeat the campaign for. We suggest a period of three weeks for the initial promotion so that your sellers are committed to hitting their objectives. Upon the closing date of the campaign, we will need 10 days to prepare your order for delivery.
The benefit of repeat campaigns is you build your fundraising dollars larger with less administration and your supporters register once and select repeat orders. Your only role then becomes promoting the campaign and to encourage sales!
5. How the Program Works
Now your supporters are ready to buy from your website. You no longer need to print and distribute forms, collect and cash cheques, or deal with lost forms and incomplete information. You open up your fundraiser to more than just the parents or your members. Use the email newletter and website link to promote to friends, colleagues, family members, and others in your database to extend the reach of your fundraise.
Your supporters have the option of how to receive their products. They can arrange to pick up their order from your location, or they may arrange to have it delivered to their home with an additional shipping expense. Either way, you receive their support.

6. Delivery of your products, amount raised and reports
Once your campaign concludes, we will prepare your order and the instructions on how to distribute your products at your location for those supporters who have chosen the pick up option. The products will then be shipped out. Separately, we will mail you your fundraising dollars raised along with a sales summary and statistics to evaluate the effectiveness of your campaign.
7. Repeat the process
Now that you have completed your first fundraiser with Better Life, all the tools are available to continue a reoccurring program that will help raise additional fundraise dollars. If you ensure your supoorters sign up for repeat orders with just a few items every month, you will be surprised how fast your fundraise dollars will grow.
